The rapidly expanding cannabis industry is at a similar stage in its supply chain evolution that the organic food industry was at in the late-1970s. Both industries share a fundamental passion for natural products and the value they can provide to humanity.

The origins of these industries both started out with a simple supply chain model, where passionate local growers and manufacturers supplied independent retail stores directly. With no formal distribution methods, retailers wore many hats. They purchased, received, and inspected all products right at the back door of their stores, creating countless transactions on a daily basis and an ever-changing menu.

Distributors were introduced and stocked thousands of products in their warehouses, allowing retailers to greatly reduce their workload and increase their offerings, with minimal product running out of stock.

Our Founder and CEO, Mike Beaudry, has decades of experience leading high-volume distribution companies, and ultimately held several executive roles in the natural & organic products industry. Mike led these operations nationally and spent more than five years as President of UNFI, America’s leading distributor of Natural/Organic and specialty foods. After over a decade in the natural products industry, Mike spent five years as CEO of a private-label dietary supplement company which manufactured and distributed products for the top retailers in the US: Costco, Walmart, CVS, Target, and more.

This combined experience has provided the insight to create HERBL: a state licensed, regulated and quality-secured cannabis distributor. We are committed to creating collaboration in every part of the supply chain, and we place relationships and integrity above all else.
